Law Labels
The law labels on your mattress provide valuable informtion about your mattress. They tell when and where your bed was made along with pattern numbers. These labels, located at the head of your mattress and box spring are required in the event that you have to file a warranty claim. If these tags are not intact, it will be much more difficult, if not impossible for us to file a warranty claim for you. If somehow your law labels become detached from your mattress, please make sure to store them somewhere that you will be able to reproduce them easily.
In addition to the label at the top of your mattress and box spring, there are labels at the foot of your bed. These medallion labels tell the manufacturer information and the model name (only on Sealy and Stearns and Foster) of your mattress set. Please do not cut these off. Additionally, on our Simmons mattresses there are satin tags that tell the manufacturer and model of your mattress. These are required for warranty compliance also.
Please do not remove any of these tags. They are very important and required in the event that you have a warranty claim. If they somehow become separated from your bed, make sure to store them somewhere that you can easily find them. Warranty information for our mattresses is located here:
If at any time you have questions about your warranty, or believe that you have a warranty claim, please email us.
